EXCLUSIVE HALO LIGHTING SUPPLIERS IN AUSTRALIA

HALO LED strip lighting installed on mine tunnel wall

The first, and still running..

HALO developed the world’s first LED strip lighting system specifically for underground mining in 2010, securing the patent in South Africa in 2013. More than a decade later, many of those early installations remain in service.

Since then, others have followed, but HALO has more than a decade of proven performance in some of the world’s toughest mining environments.

Innovative Lighting Australia supplies, specifies and supports the complete HALO range across Australia.

Built For Australia's Toughest Conditions..

Workshops, tunnels, wash bays, walkways, marine and wet rooms. HALO rope lighting is IP68, flame retardant and IECEx certified for Zone 1, 2, 21 and 22 hazardous areas - built to run from -45°C to +45°C, and to keep running where cheaper strip fails.

FAQs

How long can one run be?

Up to 250 metres from a single power source. That's one supply and one continuous run, instead of a separate connection for every fitting.

Is it rated for hazardous areas?

Yes. HALO rope lighting is IECEx certified for Zone 1, 2, 21 and 22 — both hazardous gas and hazardous dust atmospheres. It's also flame retardant and runs at extra-low voltage (12, 24 or 48V DC).

Will it survive a wash bay?

HALO rope lighting is IP68 sealed silicone — protected against dust and water, not just splashes — and rated from -45°C to +45°C. Wash bays, plant rooms and wet rooms are all inside its range.

Why HALO and not a cheaper strip?

HALO made the first LED strip system built for underground mining in 2010 and patented it in 2013. Installs from more than a decade ago are still lit. Everything else on the market is a version of that idea — so the real comparison is the original with a decade of evidence, or a copy of it.
